Many people think in dichotomies, in either/or terms. They think if you’re nice, you’re not tough. But Win/Win is nice . . . and tough. It’s twice as tough as Win/Lose. To go for Win/Win, you not only have to be nice, you have to be courageous. You not only have to be empathic, you have to be confident. You not only have to be considerate and sensitive, you have to be brave. To do that, to achieve that balance between courage and consideration is the essence of real maturity and is fundamental to Win/Win.

Thinking Win Win as explained above is what we should think individually. But as a team, working win win is how we shall act. 
How ?
In a situation involving you and me?

You lose I lose – We will both walk away.
You win I lose – I lost You guilt. This won’t last too long.
You lose I win – This is what most have in mind. You don’t want to walk into this.
You win I win – Yes, this is possible, not easy but possible.    

By matching one value to one's need, a win win is created.

Just to be clear, especially if you're just joining us:
The truth is elusive. No one knows the whole truth about anything. We certainly don't know the truth about the things we buy and recommend and use.
What we do know (and what we talk about) is our story. Our story about why use, recommend or are loyal to you and your products. Our story about the origin and the impact and the utility of what we buy.
Marketing is storytelling.
The story of your product, built into your product. The ad might be part of it, the copy might be part of it, but mostly, your product and your service and your people are all part of the story.
Tell it on purpose.

Only the lifeless don’t change.
We change either on our own of by life itself.
However when ask to change our life we often face a huge resistance.
Hence to help reduce the resistance, following are 6 questions we can ask ourself whenever we see a need for change.
Start with a change we like to make and ask these 6 questions

1. Ask yourself why you want that change.
Without knowing why, why change.

2. How much you want that change.
We want to make the change, we also want to know how much we want. If it is a big change but it doesn’t matter to us, we will not put in effort to make that change. Yet we perceived it as high resistance.

3. What if I change but not as much?
It is ok. By acknowledging that we can change little by little the resistance to change will diminished.

4. How do I look after the change?
Picture ourself after the change. This will give ourself a pat on the back for the good work done.

5. Ask yourself is the changed you great?
Again picture ourself, this time involve some feeling. Does it feel great ? If it does, it is the change we need for our self.

6. Now that you change, what next?
Finally, life don’t stop here. What is the next change we should made? If the change we made earlier is a gradual change to a bigger change, we just repeat the 6 questions for the next change.
If not we can start identifying a new change to made.

It may takes longer in the beginning to questions our self.
With some practice it can come down to seconds and instantly the resistance of change is gone.

Insurance is nothing more than transferring and distributing of risk in monetary economy. It is a mutual agreement for mutual aid; but way before monetary economy,  the following is what insurance is about:-

Centuries ago, in a fishing village in rural China, the sole source of support for each family is their daily catch. Every man in the family is destined to be a fisherman.

In this village the stories of not coming home fathers or brothers; lost at the sea, has become part of life. Every fleet that went to the sea is returning to the shore with one less fisherman at least; only to be replaced by younger fishermen.

 Accepted as faith the villagers strongly believing in praying to 'Sea God' . Offering were made to the temple.

Each lost fisherman is not just a lost of love one but also a lost of support for the entire family; family without adult male or family with only young children. These family have to rely on other families to survive.
This went on for decades.

One day a wise man have a brilliant idea. He set up a donation box in the temple for each fisherman to make their offering. On top of praying with these offering, these offering will be distributed to support the family of the lost fisherman.

From then on, fishermen go to the sea without worry.

That is insurance before modern trade and before monetary economy. Today, insurance has evolves into a complex financial system available to everyone.

Thus insurance is born out inherently of helping those in needs.  This is why it lasted for centuries and irreplaceable by other financial system.
